PETER ZHENG, M.D.
Dr. Peter Zheng has been practicing in Westchester and Dutchess regions for over 16 years. He is an Interventional Pain management Specialist (Minimal Invasive Pain Management Specialist). He is certified by American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is also certified by New York State for acupuncture. He did his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship in Anesthesiology Pain Management. Dr. Zheng did his internship in Internal Medicine at University of Connecticut, residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Rochester and fellowship in
Anesthesiology Pain Management at Westchester Medical Center. Colleagues through the pain management rotation during residency felt Dr. Zheng would be an excellent pain management physician and praised him for his wonderful needle skills as he displayed very accurate and less painful techniques. This led Dr. Zheng to do pain management fellowship and he soon became a pain management physician with an expertise in minimally invasive procedures.
He had multidisciplinary training during his residency and fellowship, which include extensive training in interventional pain management, orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, physical therapy, electrodiagnosic medicine (NCS/EMG), and many more. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of his specialty and subspecialties and over 15 year practice, he is very experienced with a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and management of pain conditions and musculoskeletal problems with most advanced knowledge and new techniques. These include almost all aspects of the interventional pain management treatments with minimally invasive procedures, PRP and stem cell therapy, medication management, botox injection and acupuncture. He always tries to find out why the patients have pain and then treat accordingly.

His office is equipped with state-of-art equipment, such as C-Arm X-Ray, Ultrasound and so on, to treat broad spectrum of pain conditions.
